Advisory Board
A CDDO Department Advisory Board composed of seven members was created to ensure that developmentally disabled individuals in Cowley County receive efficient delivery of services. The CDDO Advisory Board actively participates in the operations of the CDDO Department (in an advisory capacity)and makes formal recommendations annually to the Cowley County Board of Commissioners concerning the functions and responsibilities of the CDDO Department.

Consistent with the provisions of the DD Reform Act, the Cowley County Council of Community Members is a dedicated volunteer group comprised of parents, guardians, service industry professionals, recipients of services within the DD system, and community stakeholders. The focus of the group is assuring service/support availability and assuring the needs identified by children and adults with disabilities and their families are met.
