In compliance with state statue each judicial district has a Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board and a Adult Community Corrections Advisory Board which consists of members who represent law enforcement, prosecution, judiciary, education, corrections, ethnic minorities, social service and the general public. The 19th Judicial District boards have been combined to form the Community Corrections Collaboration Advisory Board. The function of the board is to develop a local comprehensive plan for Adult and Juvenile Community Corrections as well as implement, evaluate, and act as the oversight committee to ensure the comprehensive plan remains effective.
